ZSM-5

1. ZSM-5 zeolite is a high-silica zeolite, and has a Si/Al ratio of more than 1000, and also shows hydrophobic properties.

2. The structural feature of ZSM-5 zeolite is that the vertical and horizontal parts are crystalline aluminosilicates composed of ten-element channels. The basic structure consists of eight 5-membered rings, which have only channels and no cageless cavities.
