Product Description

 

Gamma activated alumina catalyst carrier refers to white powder or compacted alumina solid, and is the most widely used catalyst carrier, accounting for about 70% of supported catalysts in the industry. Alumina has various forms, and not only different forms have different properties, but even the same form has different properties because of different sources such as density, pore structure, specific surface area, etc. Commercial alumina carriers are available in powder form, but most are molded. Strip-type, spherical, and ingot-type alumina are mainly used as catalyst carriers in fixed bed reactors, and microspherical alumina carriers are mainly used in fluidized bed reactors. They can also be made into specially shaped carriers required for certain catalytic processes, such as rings, trilobites, honeycombs, fibers (see alumina fibers), etc.
