Synthetic urea is the process of synthesizing urea under high pressure and temperature using ammonia and carbon dioxide as raw materials. Urea production is based on coal, natural gas and heavy oil as raw materials. The CO2 feed gas for urea synthesis contains a certain amount of CO, H2, CH4, N2 and sulfide, etc. The presence of explosive gases such as H2, CO and CH4 is the biggest safety hazard for urea production. The use of catalytic combustion method to make the hydrogen in the CO2 raw material and the reaction to generate water is an effective measure to prevent the urea plant explosion.

It can be completely used as a substitute for CN-101 catalyst in the removal of hydrogen from CO2 raw materials in large and medium-sized fertilizer plants in China, reducing the residual hydrogen content in the exhaust gas to below 50PPM, fundamentally eliminating the risk of hydrogen-oxygen mixed explosion, avoiding explosion danger, and reducing ammonia consumption. DH-2 dehydrogenation catalyst is based on active alumina as the carrier, and the active components are precious metals such as platinum(Pt) and palladium(Pd).
